2018 was another successful year for the Seattle WordPress community. We held our tenth WordCamp Seattle conference, launched a community directory at our WPSeattle.org portal, organized a special presentation on web design techniques with CSS expert Rachel Andrew, and grew our community’s presence on Meetup to more than 2,600 members.
Finances: By the numbers
We accept sponsorship contributions to cover the costs of meetup hospitality and community promotion + marketing initiatives. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact us through WPSeattle.org and we will respond to your inquiry. The following is a summary of our community’s finances for 2018. Note that these figures do not include funds raised or expended in support of WordCamp Seattle 2018. As always, the conference had its own budget, revenue, and expenses.
Cash on hand at year’s end: $1,395.35
